ashian's youngest sister Kylie Jenner is just a teenager, but the 17-year-old isn't wasting any time joining the fashion scene.
Not only has she modeled (most recently for V Magazine) and released a clothing line with older sis Kendall, but she's also rocked the same leg-baring dress in a strikingly similar way as the fashionable Rihanna, 26. The "We Found Love" singer strutted her stuff in the look on Jan. 25 at the annual pre-Grammy soiree thrown by music mogul Clive Davis, and Kylie's darker version followed seven months later at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.
What they wore: RiRi took the plunge in a bright yellow, silky dress by Alexandre Vauthier Couture. Meanwhile, Kylie wore the same frock in a more chic shade of black.Much in the same way, which might not be a coincidence. In a May interview with Seventeen, Kendall told the magazine that Rihanna was one of her and Kylie's fashion icons. Rihanna, in this case, opted to wear her skin-baring gown with strappy, metallic heels by Christian Louboutin and silver jewelry, including a bracelet and a prominent necklace and earrings. The "Stay" singer left her locks down. Kylie followed suit in many ways, although she covered up a little more on top.
Judge's scorecard: Rihanna's choice of dress — the cut and the color — perfectly fits her outrageous style, so it's a win for her. However, Kylie's take on the look was more sophisticated, despite her young age. The Kardashian sister wins by a hair. Rihanna should be proud, though, because she was obviously the inspiration!
